Milestone 7 in the Increase Diversity™ Roadmap

The (Accelerated) Qualified Inclusive Leader training equips hiring managers with the strategies and mindsets needed to meaningfully improve diversity recruiting and retention. You’ll  learn proven techniques to mitigate unconscious bias, assess candidates inclusively, and build a robust talent pipeline.

A-QIL empowers hiring managers to play a pivotal role in building diverse, equitable, and inclusive teams.

The Hiring Managers Role in Diversity Recruiting & Retention

You've likely experienced firsthand the challenges of attracting a diverse group of talent into open positions. Despite time and resources spent trying to reach underrepresented groups, including women, people of color, the disabled, veterans, and the LGBTQ+ community, moving the needle on diversity can seem impossible.

The problem is, most hiring managers feel they've exhausted all options, or that diversity recruiting is only about finding more places to source candidates, putting the responsibility solely on recruiters.

But the truth is, increasing diversity requires a collective effort. Both hiring managers and recruiters play crucial roles.

Our A-QIL training equips hiring managers, those with hiring authority, and DEI team members, with the strategies needed to meaningfully increase diversity through hiring and retention - without creating harm. In just 1.5 hours over 4 weeks, you'll gain the skills to mitigate bias, assess candidates inclusively, and build a robust talent pipeline.
