This week, I will be discussing how important it is to have a solid diversity recruitment plan in order to create a diverse applicant pool for your organization. There are some great programs that can aid in creating an increase in the number of candidates, if properly implemented.
One of these programs is a favorite of mine and I cannot wait to share it with you guys! Along with the various programs I mention, I will also cover how important it is to get to know your applicant’s network. I know this tactic may seem like extra work, but it can actually help you more than you think when it comes to keeping your applicant pool flowing.
As a diversity recruiter, it can be a challenge trying to keep up with the demands of your organization and the demands of the job market itself to fill open positions.
