One might assume that simply because you and your coworkers represent the same company that you also all share the same goals. One might also assume that everyone around you within the company knows and understands the mission and values of the organization.

The truth is, diversity is not on everyone’s radar. It is important, however. In order for a company to stand out among their competitors and succeed in today’s environment, diversity must be discussed, understood, and implemented.
