If your business went away today, WHO would miss it the MOST and why?

I was asked that question just the other day. If Jennifer Tardy Consulting (aka “Team JTC”) went away today, who would miss it the most and why?

This question felt POWERFUL, and I wanted to take a moment to unpack my answer with you.

My answer: Workplace Leaders.

But not just any workplace leader. There are workplace leaders who are on the FRONTLINES of LEADING and GUIDING initiatives to increase diversity in the workplace.

These are the leaders who are CONSTANTLY fielding questions from their team or enterprise-wide on what to do FIRST and what to do NEXT…to increase workplace diversity.

These are the workplace leaders that DESIRE to increase diversity EFFECTIVELY, with NO harm, without further marginalizing groups, and without making recruiters and hiring managers to feel like they are doing something unethical or illegal.

These are the people who would miss Team JTC.

But who are they – SPECIFICALLY?

DEI Leaders who have created a powerful vision for DEI at their workplace and are now working to partner with recruiting teams on diversity recruiting.

Talent Acquisition leaders who are fielding questions from recruiters who want to feel more qualified, capable, and confident that they are recruiting “the right way.”

Chief HR Officers and VPs of HR who are getting questions from DEI leaders and Talent Acquisition leaders on what the company’s investment toward the DEI initiative will be.

It would even be the Learning & Development leader who is being charged with figuring out how to train the workplace while fielding questions about best practices in creating inclusive DEI training for hiring managers and recruiters.

But there are more…

There are the leaders who work in Career Coaching and Career Counseling who are inundated with questions by job seekers on how to navigate the bias that they can expect simply because they are from a historically underrepresented community.

It’s Staffing Agency leaders who genuinely care about hiring outcomes and want to support their clients to increase diversity in their workplaces.

And it is also other DEI Consulting freelancers and boutique firms who are supporting workplaces to establish DEI programs and are now working to help them to take it to the next level with recruiting.

At Team JTC, we believe deeply that these people are ALL our people. It is who we are communicating with every single day. It is who we support with our QDR Certification program. It is who we work the hardest to support you so that they can:

  • Feel more confident in the direction they give to their team, the company, their clients, and even the job seekers that they support.

  • See better outcomes and make a more profound impact on the customers you support.

  • Discover what they must start, stop, and continue doing to increase diversity.

  • Feel comfortable knowing that the methods they are implementing are best practices and free of harm.
