Many of you now know Team JTC through our Qualified Diversity Recruiter (QDR) Bootcamp and the newly launched recruiter certification. But one of the questions that we often get from recruiters and recruiting leaders is this:

Now that our recruiting department has been trained on best practice strategies to increase diversity, what about the hiring managers? They need training too and we cannot do this without them! 

We were way ahead of that when we developed our original Qualified Inclusive Leader (QIL) Bootcamp. However, we ran into three issues: 

  1. The 6-module training was rather long for super busy hiring leaders.

  2. Bigger organizations had far too many hiring managers, making it an expensive option to train them individually.

  3. New hiring managers come on board regularly. How would they also be trained?

This prompted us to go back to the drawing board and develop a cost-effective, microlearning training campaign, and we’ve called it the Fast Track QIL Training. In this training, we’ve condensed six modules of training into quick, micro-learning content that uses only 90 minutes over a 4-week window. The hiring leaders in your organization will receive an email twice a week for four weeks, with each email containing a link to a 5-7 minute video. These videos will unpack a critical element regarding inclusive hiring practices that hiring leaders need to know and understand.

We’re offering three different series within the Fast Track QIL Training, for Hiring Managers, Ambassadors, and Interview Teams. The best thing is that all these packages are offered at a flat rate. You can even take these videos and drop them into your learning management system if that works best for you. Check out these packages:

 
 

Here’s how this works:

Step #1: Purchase a package. Whom do you want to train: your hiring managers, your recruiting ambassadors, or your interview team members? You can train one group, you can train two, or you can train all three. We do have bundle pricing available. While the modules are similar in all three series, they are delivered in an entirely different way, to address the group being focused on.

Step #2: Onboarding. We will gather information about your company’s overall mission and any information you have related to your mission to increase diversity, like your DEI mission. This information will be used to create a customized welcome video. We will also provide you with a digital welcome guide that has recommendations on how to run the training successfully. 

Step #3: Training bundle delivered to you. This will be a content calendar containing delivery dates, email templates, and links to videos.

Step #4: You run your training campaign internally. 4 weeks for hiring managers, 3 weeks for ambassadors, and 2 weeks for interview team panels.
