Calling ALL career counselors and career coaches!

I am excited about an upcoming speaking engagement collaboration hosted by the Career Counselors’ Consortium on November 2, 2022. This professional development seminar, called “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Session: Culturally Responsive Interview Preparation Q & A with Jenn Tardy”, will be a 2-hour virtual event, starting at noon est. Hurry up and register today as there are only 10 seats left!

Who is the Career Counselors’ Consortium?

The Career Counselors’ Consortium (CCC) promotes the professional development of career counselors and advocates by providing an open forum for communication and training, and an opportunity to connect locally and regionally. The CCC offers cutting-edge programming on relevant topics that advance learning, professional development, and best practices for career counselors and those interested in the profession.

What this Session is About and Who is it for?

During this session, I will be answering your questions about how you, as career counselors and coaches, can best prepare clients from historically underrepresented backgrounds to overcome potential bias in interviews, networking, and in all areas of the job search. I will also be sharing the most frequently asked questions I hear from career coaches and job seekers about overcoming bias in the job search. This makes it a perfect session for not only hiring leaders, recruiters, and career counselors but also job seekers who want to polish their prospects for an upcoming career move.

In this seminar, I will be sharing insights that I’ve gathered from my 15+ years of experience in the field of human resources and recruiting. If you have attended any of my speaking events in the past, you would know that my approach is to be very engaging, sharing real-life examples and lived experiences. I can’t wait to connect with you all!

Limited Seats Available

Some seats are still available (10 at the time this newsletter was published) at an early bird rate of $75, after which it will be $90. The virtual event will be held on Zoom, meaning that you can attend this insightful seminar from anywhere in the world! We also invite you to share this news with anyone you feel would find this seminar valuable. Book your seat here
