To a workplace, increasing diversity means moving the needle in a positive direction toward creating well-represented candidate pools, equitable hiring processes, and inclusive workplace environments where employees can grow and feel a deep sense of belonging. To an individual, increasing diversity means representation. It is about taking chances on ourselves and navigating inequities to reach for more in our careers. Here at Team JTC, we continue to be proud of the work that individuals and workplaces are doing to increase diversity around the globe.

This is why we're excited to announce our 2023 Increase Diversity™ Award recipients recognizing workplaces moving the needle to increase diversity and promote a culture of inclusion.

The winners were selected based on the following criteria:

Criteria #1: Commitment to increasing diversity through implemented inclusive sourcing, recruiting and hiring programs.

Criteria #2: Commitment to increasing diversity through implemented training and education programs for leaders and employees.

Criteria #3: Commitment to increasing diversity through implemented development and retention programs inclusive of historically underrepresented groups.

Please join Team JTC in congratulating 🥁 (drumroll, please).

Advocate Health

Formerly Advocate Aurora Health “is committed to diversity and inclusion every single day and in everything we do. Diversity lives in the differences, great and small, that matter to us and make each of us unique – from our age and the color of our skin to our abilities and the things we believe in. We know that empowering our differences inspires creativity that leads to innovative solutions – for our workforce, consumers and communities. And because health care is built upon relationships, it’s important for the people we serve to be able to trust us to meet their unique needs. By cultivating an atmosphere of acceptance and compassion, we create a welcoming environment where our patients can heal, our team members can thrive, and our business can grow. Working in a diverse setting allows our team members the chance to grow in ways that broaden their perspectives to deliver the best possible patient care. As one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the nation, caring for all people is foundational to who we are. We’re making deliberate and intentional decisions around diversity and inclusion to improve the health and well-being of our consumers, workforce and communities by creating meaningful change that will help people live well.”

Nexthink

“At Nexthink, we believe all applicants should be considered equally, regardless of their gender identity, race, age, background, religion, and other intersectionalities. Our unique experiences make us who we are. And those experiences combined make us a stronger, more creative, and inclusive team. We are committed to prioritizing diversity in our hiring practices, doing the work to identify and overcome unconscious biases, and creating a more equitable recruitment process for our candidates.

We are committed to ensuring that we hire the best candidate for the role and give all applicants equal opportunity. Together, with a broad range of skills, experiences, knowledge, and perspectives, we can achieve anything. Our collective diversity is the key to our success; to understanding ourselves and each other better, pushing boundaries, and accomplishing things beyond our wildest dreams. Our commitment to a fair and equitable Diversity Talent Acquisition program is to create a more equitable environment for all employees to flourish so that we are motivated, engaged, and ready to change the world of work.”

SpringWorks Therapeutics
